“I chose you from the world, to go and bear fruit that will last, says the Lord.” John 15:16

Writing that will last is true, good, and beautiful. I am a Catholic poet who is still learning how to read and write true, good, and beautiful poetry. After graduating with my MFA in Creative Writing in the Catholic Literary Tradition, from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, I realized I still need to grow in perfecting my craft of poetry. I need the courage to grow. I need to be a part of a reading and writing community that will encourage me to keep learning.

My hope is that we learn from each other how to be the best readers and writers that God made us to be. I know you will inspire me, and I hope to inspire you. My goal is to write for God’s glory, and not mine. I need your encouragement and advice to achieve this dream.

I plan to share my writing journey, especially how and what God inspires me to write. Ultimately, He is the One who gives me the courage to write anything at all. I pray that in God’s eyes, we may all bear fruit that will last.
